Job Summary
Strategic Sourcing Manager for Direct Materials (Remote). Lead and implement strategic sourcing plans for direct raw material categories (e.g., resin, packaging, components), manage supplier selection and negotiations, drive cost optimization and savings, monitor market conditions and trends, collaborate across finance/legal/operations, oversee contract management and risk mitigation, and provide cross-functional guidance on sourcing best practices. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, 8-10+ years in direct materials sourcing, and strong experience with resin materials used in injection molding. Travel ~25%. Skills: supplier negotiation, contract management, data-driven decision making, market intelligence, cross-functional collaboration, KPI tracking, and continual process improvement.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- A minimum of 8-10 years of experience in strategic sourcing or procurement, specifically for direct materials
- Strong experience in managing resin materials supporting injection molding manufacturing processes
