Job Summary
Strategic Sourcing Manager for lab equipment and service contracts who guides equipment purchasing processes, negotiates quotes with suppliers, and develops long-term supplier partnerships. Responsibilities include managing PO processes and SOPs for external service providers, tracking savings and KPIs, identifying cost-reduction opportunities, coordinating with lab scientists on preferred equipment sources, and aligning capex with service contract spend. Requires strong vendor management, data analysis, and cross-functional collaboration to improve operational efficiency in a healthcare technology management setting.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in procurement.
- Experience working with laboratory equipment.
- Proficiency in Excel and data visualization tools (e.g. Power BI).
- Knowledge of GxP and data integrity requirements in regulated environments.
