Strategic Sourcing Intern - Summer 2027

Develop basic understanding of assigned commodities including market conditions, cost drivers, and global supply bases to create purchasing programs. Conduct broad market research to identify world-class suppliers and quantify sourcing benefits via spend analysis, stakeholder interviews, and market trends. Identify sourcing opportunities to drive savings and cost avoidance while influencing key stakeholders on strategy initiatives. Partner across the organization to improve financial results related to sourcing activities and utilize project management skills to create timelines, set milestones, and report findings. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Spend Management and Trade Compliance to execute these initiatives. This 40-hour weekly summer rotation runs from May through September for rising Business, Supply Chain, or Engineering students.
