Job Summary
Develop comprehensive category strategies, manage RFP and bid processes, and negotiate corporate programs with strategic suppliers to achieve cost savings and quality targets. Execute purchasing strategies across commodity materials, assess supplier risks, and drive continuous improvement through data analysis and standardized specifications. Maintain mutually beneficial relationships with key suppliers, resolve procurement issues, and support internal vendor reviews and external business reviews. Identify opportunities for supplier-driven innovation and facilitate technical support for design projects while meeting profit plan objectives. Works Monday through Friday between 7 AM and 5 PM with 10-30% travel.
Required Qualifications
- Proficient in the use of a PC and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strategic sourcing experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 2 years in a strategic sourcing role
- 10-30% travel, as required
- Must be able to work between the hours of 7 AM and 5 PM, Monday- Friday
- Must be able to work a sufficient schedule to meet the expectations of the role
- Must pass a background and drug test
- Must be eligible for E-Verify
