Strategic Sourcing Category Lead - Indiana

Job Summary
Develop comprehensive category strategies and manage Request for Proposal processes to achieve targeted cost savings and quality drivers. Lead purchasing strategies for commodity materials, negotiate corporate programs with strategic suppliers, and qualify alternative supply sources based on risk mitigation and cost opportunities. Support internal vendor reviews and external business reviews to address supplier challenges and drive continuous improvement. Analyze key sourcing KPIs, spend data, and vendor performance scores to resolve supplier issues and maintain contract compliance. Facilitate standardized specifications between suppliers and design teams while identifying opportunities for supplier-driven innovation. Works Monday through Friday between 7 AM and 5 PM with 10-30% travel. Bachelor's degree required with minimum 2 years in strategic sourcing experience.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 2 years in a strategic sourcing role
- Proficient in the use of a PC and Microsoft Office Suite

- Must be able to work between the hours of 7 AM and 5 PM, Monday- Friday
