Job Summary
Strategic Sourcing Analyst for IT Procurement responsible for technology and service acquisitions across the enterprise. Lead agile sourcing methodology, determine evaluation and negotiation strategies for IT-related contracts (software/SaaS, hardware, managed services, consulting). Manage sourcing and contracting for medium to high complexity tasks, including vendor investigation, bidding/RFx, pricing negotiations, and contract documentation. Coordinate with internal legal and compliance reviews (Security, Tax, Privacy) and act as liaison between business units and external vendors. Maintain ownership of vendor portfolios, drive cost reduction and value-added services, and ensure IT Procurement lifecycle practices are followed. Provide SME guidance and training to Analysts, and collaborate with IT teams to ensure clear SLAs, escalations, and contract terms. Requires a university degree or equivalent, minimum three years in IT procurement, and strong leadership, negotiation, and cross-functional collaboration skills. Required Qualifications
- Minimum three (3) years of experience in an IT Procurement role
- University degree, College/Technical Institute diploma, or equivalent work experience
- SCMP/CSCMP is an asset
- In-depth knowledge in IT Procurement processes and core competencies including technologies and services
- Strong leadership skills and communication/negotiation abilities
- Collaborative team player with ability to influence across cross-functional groups
