Job Summary
Strategic Scheduler responsible for managing multi-line, high-volume calls, reviewing medical records and insurance, and scheduling patients for multiple surgeons; build relationships with referring practices; verify patient insurance; maintain scheduling accuracy; enter patient data; optimize surgeon schedules and patient access; explain treatment and appointment and referral processes; communicate with colleagues; adapt to changing priorities; support both practice and centralized scheduling teams with diverse administrative tasks.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2–3 years of experience in a dental or medical front office with direct patient and customer service responsibilities
- Experience in appointment scheduling or contact center support preferred
- Proficiency in scheduling software and Microsoft Office
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
