Job Summary
Strategic Projects Manager role focusing on translating strategic objectives into engineering requirements and delivering cross-functional projects in the Anglian Water Group. Responsibilities include overseeing engineering assessments, modelling, calculations, simulations, risk assessments, system design and integration concepts; managing the project development lifecycle; owning and updating the project programme; coordinating resources and budget with the SGPL; producing monthly progress reports for the Strategy and Development team; and applying technical and commercial rigour to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery with safety and wellbeing front of mind. The role combines technical problem-solving, project management, and stakeholder engagement in a hybrid, UK-based setting. Required Qualifications
- Professional project management qualification or equivalent
- Experience in managing engineering projects across part of, or full lifecycle
- Familiar with key stages of project enabling and development; surveys, environmental considerations, land, planning, and grid
- Operational governance, stage-gates, risk registers, and reporting
- Strong written communication skills and confidence in presenting
