Job Summary
Strategic Project Lead to drive day-to-day delivery of training environments, manage contractors, and shape product direction at an AI-forward financial services startup. Role includes owning experiments, translating customer requirements into deliverables, building scalable operational systems, and contributing to strategic planning and pricing strategies. Requires 1–3 years in finance (IB/PE/hedge funds or top-tier consulting), strong understanding of financial services, demonstrated ownership of projects in high-performance settings, entrepreneurial mindset, and hands-on experience with AI tools. Visa sponsorship and relocation are provided; location is San Francisco with in-person work.
Required Qualifications
- 1–3 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, hedge funds, or top-tier consulting (finance-focused)
- Analyst/Associate at IB, PE, or hedge fund
- Strong understanding of financial services and ability to evaluate models and deliverables
- Proven ownership of projects or workstreams in high-performance environments
- Entrepreneurial mindset, with evidence of side projects or building something independently
- Hands-on experience experimenting with AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor)
- Strong academic background; technical or CS exposure is a plus
