Job Summary

Analyze current and future capabilities and their operational effectiveness against peer adversaries while supporting the development of operational planning teams. Work with DoD, IA/IC, TSOCs, and GCCs to understand the operational environment and threats, then develop options for future USSOCOM investments. Travel to CONUS/OCONUS locations for stakeholder engagements and Key Leader Engagements, and support decision briefings to senior USSOCOM leadership. Assist with staff functions including mission analysis, briefing, and daily headquarters operations. Requires a TS/SCI clearance, seven years of experience, and familiarity with MDMP and intelligence tools.

Required Qualifications

  • Current Top Secret/Specialized Compartmented Information Security Clearance

  • A bachelor's degree
  • seven years of experience or ten years of relevant work experience
  • More than three years of specialized experience in military or IC compartmented activities (IJSTO, SAP, ACCM, etc.)
  • More than three years of specialized experience in Information Operations support (Planning/Intelligence) and/or SOF operations support
  • Be deployable to the required theater of operations, usually conducting periodic travel within CONUS and short-term to OCONUS locations
  • You must be able to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
  • Be able to provide daily feedback to the team lead and supported unit on product development
  • More than three years of experience with SOF, SMU, and Special or Technical Units of Federal, State, or Local Law Enforcement
  • Experience and in-depth knowledge of the Military Decision-Making Process (MDMP), including mission analysis, COA decision and CONOP approval briefings, D3A execution matrices, CONOP documents, and FRAGOs
  • Working knowledge of ACW and C5ISR and/or other emerging weapons or threats
  • Experience and capability to perform tasks with Microsoft productivity software and applications
  • Practical understanding of Microsoft SharePoint, Google Earth spatial analysis software, and web-based intelligence tools and databases available through SIPR and JWICS
  • Must be able to work independently with some government oversight and function effectively as part of a team in a joint working environment
