Job Summary
Strategic Operations Manager responsible for leading end-to-end transportation execution across manufacturing sites, real-time inbound visibility, risk identification and resolution, coordinating with carriers, 3PLs, and internal teams, and driving KPI performance; requires 4+ years in transportation/logistics, strong analytical and problem-solving, customer-facing experience, proficiency with TMS/ERP, ability to travel 10%, onsite in Lafayette, GA.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma required
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 4+ years of experience in transportation, logistics, or supply chain operations
- Experience in high-volume, execution-driven environments
- Strong understanding of transportation modes (LTL, TL, etc.)
- Hands-on experience with load planning, shipment tracking, and issue resolution
- Customer-facing experience in a professional setting
- Exposure to TMS, ERP, or similar operational systems
- Ability to travel up to 10% for customer and team engagements
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Proficiency in data analysis and Excel
- Working knowledge of ERP systems
