Job Summary
Strategic Operations Associate role supporting the Founder with execution across hiring, partnerships, fundraising, and market entry in Singapore. Key duties include driving Singapore market entry from strategy to hands-on execution, building and executing initial hiring plans, supporting fundraising with materials and investor coordination, establishing the company's presence in Singapore (office setup, vendors, operating structure), driving external positioning with PR and partnerships, turning ambiguous ideas into actionable plans, and acting as a central operator across teams to track priorities and resolve bottlenecks. The candidate should bring a background in top-tier consulting or VC/startups, be a strong generalist who can switch between strategy, hiring, and operations, operate with high agency in ambiguity, exercise sound judgment to prioritize what matters, communicate clearly with senior stakeholders, and work reliably in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- Background in consulting (MBB), top-tier VC, startups, or high-performance operating roles
- Strong generalist - able to switch between strategy, hiring, operations, and execution
- High agency - does not wait for instructions, figures things out and moves
- Strong judgment - able to prioritize what matters and make decisions with incomplete information
- Clear and concise communication - comfortable working with senior stakeholders and external partners
- High reliability - consistently follows through and delivers
- Comfortable working in a fast-moving, high-ambiguity environment
