Job Summary
Strategic Operations Associate will operate as an extension of the Founder to turn ideas into execution across hiring, partnerships, fundraising, and market entry. You’ll drive local market entry from strategy to hands-on execution, build and execute initial hiring plans, support fundraising efforts with materials and investor coordination, establish A1’s presence in the local market (office setup, vendors, operating structure), and shape external positioning through PR and partnerships. The role requires turning ambiguous ideas into clear plans and acting as a central operator across teams to track priorities, resolve bottlenecks, and push progress in a fast-moving, high-ambiguity environment.
Required Qualifications
- Background in consulting (MBB), top-tier VC, startups, or high-performance operating roles
- Strong generalist - able to switch between strategy, hiring, operations, and execution
- High agency - does not wait for instructions, figures things out and moves
- Strong judgment - able to prioritize what matters and make decisions with incomplete information
- Clear and concise communication - comfortable working with senior stakeholders and external partners
- High reliability - consistently follows through and delivers
- Comfortable working in a fast-moving, high-ambiguity environment
