Job Summary
Internship in Strategic Marketing & Fan Engagement with UVA Athletics to assist in game-day promotions, fan engagement activities, sponsorship activations, and in-venue entertainment; create game scripts and run-of-show documents; support event setup/breakdown and community outreach; collaborate with athletics staff, student groups, and campus partners to promote events and drive attendance; requires 6–10 hours per week (evenings/weekends) with opportunities for additional hours; ideal for students pursuing sports marketing, event management, or related fields; compensation $13.00 per hour; undergrad or graduate student enrollment and ability to represent UVA professionally.
Required Qualifications

- Availability to attend all home football games and select competitions for other sports
- Ability to represent the University of Virginia and UVA Athletics in a positive, professional manner
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask, problem-solve, and adapt in a fast-paced live event environment
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work both independently and as part of a team
