Job Summary
Strategic Investors Group Investment Banking Business Management Associate supports senior leaders across Global Banking and Global Investment Banking by translating strategic priorities into actionable plans, maintaining operating cadences, and coordinating cross-functional execution. You’ll work with a VP Business Manager and stakeholders across product, coverage, finance, risk, legal, and technology to respond quickly to time-sensitive deliverables, develop data-informed insights, and produce executive-ready materials to inform decision making. Key responsibilities include translating leadership priorities into draft sequenced plans and budgets, maintaining client/activity cadences and performance metrics, defining and maintaining management KPIs, preparing materials for reviews and governance, analyzing datasets to surface trends, coordinating cross-functional initiatives, capturing requirements for technology initiatives, driving process automation, and managing day-to-day execution for executive requests. Strong emphasis on communication, relationship management, attention to detail, and delivering against deadlines in a fast-moving environment. Requirements include 3+ years in related roles, excellence in Excel/PowerPoint, and a demonstrated ability to work with senior stakeholders and deliver clear, actionable insights.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in Business Management/COO, Investment Banking, Corporate Strategy, Consulting, or a similar role
- Ability to structure ambiguous problems, synthesize qualitative and quantitative inputs, and communicate data-informed insights and options
- Experience supporting cross-functional initiatives end-to-end (planning, coordination, tracking, and delivery) and working with senior stakeholders; able to operate with appropriate guidance
- Advanced written and verbal communication; ability to produce clear, executive-ready materials and build relationships across functions
- Highly organized self-starter who balances big-picture thinking with attention to detail; able to prioritize, manage multiple workstreams, and meet deadlines in a fast-moving environment
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint (including building polished analyses and presentations)
- Interest in building investment banking product and sector knowledge over time
