Job Summary
Associate in the Strategic Financing Solutions (SFS) team will participate in the full cycle of transactional execution, including preparing marketing pitches, reviewing and formulating financial analysis, preparing internal committee memoranda and client presentations. The role supports originating and structuring corporate financing transactions across asset classes, coordinates with multiple desks, and develops marketing content. Responsibilities include analyzing transaction structures across asset classes (e.g., Digital Infrastructure ABS, Preferred Equity Transactions, Bespoke Loans, Whole Business Securitizations), identifying revenue opportunities from corporate financing needs, preparing materials for client calls/meetings, involving Analysts/Associates in client calls, facilitating client engagements, coordinating among sales, trading, Banking, Risk, legal and other parties, working with rating agencies and lawyers, and developing new products to deepen the bank’s offerings in credit/loan financing. Focus on tracking industry developments and supporting execution with a client-centric approach.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum two years in a markets related transactional role, prior work experience in an investment banking front office role, or related role
- Strong quantitative skills and intellectual curiosity
- Quick learner and desire to learn about products across asset classes and industries
- Team player with the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment and under tight deadlines
- Strong understanding of corporate finance
- Understands transaction cycle and the steps in the process and is execution oriented
- Strong communication details with the ability to effectively interact with senior professionals, clients, and key stakeholders in other line of business
- Self-directed, highly motivated, and able to work independently
- Enthusiasm, creativity, and excellent interpersonal skills
- Personal integrity, initiative, and leadership qualities
- High level of focus on work quality and attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
