Strategic Finance Manager (Modelling & Decision Support)

Job Summary
Build and maintain core financial models, including 3-statement models, long-range plans, and scenario analysis, to frame trade-offs for capital allocation decisions. Take fragmented data and impose structure to produce outputs trusted by the CFO, Board, and shareholders for matters like capital raises and liquidity events. Pressure-test assumptions and stress-test downside scenarios to ensure model integrity under challenge. Explain complex analysis directly to senior leadership and support discussions with investors. Continuously improve modelling processes by integrating AI, automation, and real-time data to make analysis faster and more scalable.
Required Qualifications
- Strong financial modelling capability
- Proven ability to build integrated financial models (P&L, cash flow, balance sheet)
- Experience with scenario analysis, sensitivities, and driver-based models
- High level of Excel proficiency (speed, structure, auditability)
- Relevant experience in similar role
- From one or more of: Investment banking (M&A / modelling-heavy teams), Transaction services / Big 4 modelling, Corporate finance / strategic FP&A in a high-growth business
