Job Summary
Strategic Finance Lead/Senior Associate to join Divergent's Finance team. Lead the development and evolution of the company’s financial model by integrating commercial, operational, manufacturing, and capital investment assumptions into a cohesive enterprise outlook. Develop enterprise-level scenario analyses evaluating growth strategies, manufacturing capacity investments, financing alternatives, and major initiatives. Maintain detailed KPI and financial models tied to manufacturing performance (production cost, scrap, labor efficiency, machine utilization) and partner with the business to identify margin levers. Partner with executive leadership to identify strategic risks and opportunities, evaluate business model assumptions, and develop recommendations to improve long-term financial performance. Provide financial insights to influence strategy, resource allocation, and investment decisions; assist with board materials and investor-facing presentations; align long-term objectives with annual operating plans and capital priorities; establish scalable planning methodologies and metrics; serve as finance lead on high-priority initiatives such as manufacturing scale-up, facility expansions, and major capital investments.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years in prior fast-paced, analytical roles (corporate finance, strategic planning, investment banking, management consulting)
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related quantitative field
- Elite financial modeling skills
- Exceptional communication skills and ability to convey financial insights to executives and non-technical audiences
- Demonstrated ability to influence executive-level decisions through data-driven analysis and strategic recommendations
- Experience leading complex cross-functional initiatives involving senior stakeholders and competing business priorities
- A bias for action with the ability to drive projects to completion independently, effectively handle competing priorities, and manage deadlines under pressure
