Job Summary
Senior Strategic Finance role governing OpenAI’s international business: own financial visibility across regions, partner with regional leaders to identify opportunities and risks, evaluate market opportunities and investment priorities, and drive scalable governance and forecasting. Lead executive-level reporting, coordinate cross-functional planning across international regions, and support public-company-readiness initiatives while enabling AI-enabled operating processes. Requires 10+ years of relevant experience, strong modeling/communication skills, and a passion for AI and global growth. Based at OpenAI HQ in San Francisco with a hybrid 3-days-in-office model and relocation assistance; periodic international travel.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of progressive experience in relevant sectors (Investment Banking, Management Consulting, Private Equity, Strategic Finance).
- 4+ years in Strategic Finance at a high-growth tech company, ideally publicly traded.
- Exceptional modeling and analytical skills.
- Proven ability to communicate at the executive level and influence cross-functional stakeholders.
- Curiosity about how diverse business models and AI will shape markets.
- Strong organizational and process management capabilities.
- Hands-on, roll-up-your-sleeves attitude in a fast-paced environment.
- Interest in AI experimentation and deployment.
Desired Qualifications
