Job Summary
Partner with executive and functional leaders to drive critical business decisions, surface insights, and enable responsible company scaling through strategic trade-off analyses. Build and own financial models for capacity and benefits, while delivering monthly and quarterly reporting, forecasting, and variance explanations to cross-functional teams. Identify and implement AI and automation-driven improvements to scale financial processes and enable real-time reporting. Deliver thoughtful ad hoc analyses with strong judgment, speed, and attention to detail. This role requires 4-6 years of FP&A or strategic finance experience in tech, with a focus on leveraging AI tools for smarter workflows. Based in San Francisco or New York City, the position operates on an onsite schedule for Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays.
Required Qualifications
- 4-6 years of experience in FP&A, Corporate Finance, or Strategic Finance in the technology industry; or in accounting, investment banking, consulting, treasury, or private equity
- Experience with financial modeling, forecasting, budget vs. actuals, annual planning, and long-range planning
- Comfortable partnering directly with senior leadership and building cross-functional relationships
- Intellectual curiosity, strong problem-solving skills, and a desire to continually up-level current approaches and processes
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail — “get it done” attitude
- Experience leveraging AI in financial workflows
- Must be based in either San Francisco or New York City
- Must be available to work from offices on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with a high-growth tech company, including native AI, SaaS, or consumption-based businesses
- Experience with NetSuite, Workday, Zip, and planning tools (Pigment, Adaptive, Anaplan)
- Working knowledge of SQL
