Strategic Finance Associate

Job Summary
As part of Plum's Finance Team, you will partner with product and marketing to prioritize initiatives, evaluate economics and pricing for new initiatives, and build and own financial models including scenario and ad-hoc analyses. You will use AI to drive analysis and insights, develop frameworks to understand revenue, costs and margins, build strong relationships with stakeholders, and support fundraising and investor management. The role emphasizes proactive, hands-on analysis, ownership of work, and collaboration across functions, with a flexible approach to remote working and in-office days in London (and other Plum offices) to support scalable growth.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in investment banking, consulting or high-growth start ups
- Robust knowledge of Excel and complex financial modeling - confident in setting up models and processes from scratch
- Strong analytical background and experience using data to drive insight
- Experience using AI agent to drive analysis and improve processes
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Taking ownership of your work and collaborating as a team player
- Ability to influence senior leaders and present complex financial data with confidence and clarity
- Nice to have: Experience in fintech
- Nice to have: Experience in cross-functional partnering
