Job Summary
Strategic Evidence Officer role focused on building and applying cancer evidence to shape policy and practice. You will monitor and critically appraise research (peer-reviewed studies and grey literature), synthesize findings into clear, actionable reports and outputs, and translate evidence into strategy, policy and practice. The role requires collaboration with internal teams and external researchers, acting as an ambassador for the charity, and producing evidence-based content and resources across the directorate to drive impact on cancer outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- Background in a relevant field (e.g., public health, life sciences, epidemiology)
- Post-graduate qualification preferred or equivalent experience
- Strong evidence searching, critical appraisal and analytical skills
- Experience communicating complex research to diverse audiences
- Ability to collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders
- Proactive, self-motivated with ability to manage priorities
