Job Summary
Strategic Development Manager responsible for defining and driving Italy's business development strategy, aligning with commercial targets and regulatory changes, shaping new business models in the data center segment, and leading cross-functional initiatives. Role requires building and monitoring KPIs, developing annual strategic plans and budgets, coordinating with Business Development, Commercial, and Regulatory Affairs, shaping go-to-market strategies, evaluating new opportunities (including innovative energy models like hybrid systems), and supporting M&A and governance materials for senior leadership. Strong emphasis on financial modelling, market/regulatory analysis, stakeholder engagement, and bilingual communication in Italian and English.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, or related field
- 7-10 years of experience in the renewable energy sector with a strong background in business strategy/market development
- Proven ability in strategic planning, market analysis, and go-to-market design
- Fluent in Italian and English (C1 level)
- Strong command of financial and business modelling; ability to structure investment theses and scenario analyses
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
- Familiarity with renewable energy technologies (PV, BESS, wind) and their constraints
