Job Summary
Develop and execute TYTAN's growth strategy by identifying, evaluating, and prioritizing new regional markets, customer segments, and expansion pathways backed by data. Drive corporate development and inorganic growth through acquisitions, joint ventures, and investments, including the business cases and financial models behind them. Architect strategic partnerships with defense primes, industrial players, and technology partners to unlock access, capability, and scale. Own market and competitive intelligence across the C-UAS and air-defense landscape, turning threat evolution and competitor analysis into clear direction for leadership. Build quantified business cases and structure complex, multi-year commercial and framework agreements across engineering, finance, and legal. Act as a thought partner to leadership, representing the growth agenda cross-functionally and externally. Requires 3–6 years in strategy consulting, corporate development, or investment; fluent in German and English. Heavy travel expected.
Required Qualifications
- 3–6 years in strategy consulting, corporate development, investment (private equity / venture capital / banking), or a strategic commercial role
- ideally with exposure to defense, aerospace, or deep tech
- A strong analytical and financial toolkit: business-case development, financial modelling, and market analysis
- A demonstrable track record of turning ambiguous, complex problems into clear strategy and executed outcomes
- High ownership and initiative
- Comfortable with ambiguity
- capable of succeeding in a fast-paced, dynamic, and creative environment
- Confident advising and interfacing with executive leadership and senior external stakeholders
- Fluent in German and English
- Willingness to undergo security vetting as required for classified customer and partner engagements
- Heavy. Expect European and international travel for partner meetings, industry events, and leadership engagements
- currently do not offer visa sponsorship, so we're only able to consider candidates who already have a valid work permit
Desired Qualifications
- Hands-on experience structuring M&A, joint ventures, or strategic partnerships end-to-end
- Understanding of integrated hardware–software defense systems, ideally in air defense, autonomy, or sensor capabilities
- Knowledge of government contracting, procurement processes, and industrial-participation frameworks
- Familiarity of the European defense ecosystem, NATO armed forces, or MoD procurement
- Additional languages are a plus
