Job Summary
Perform analyses at the direction of department leadership to grow revenue, manage expenses, and mitigate risk. Extract, manipulate, and visualize data across different platforms while collaborating with business partners to drive analysis forward. Present findings and recommendations to various audiences, emphasizing the delivery of critical information for stakeholder decision-making. Participate in group projects culminating in presentations to UHM's leadership team. Work independently and within a team-oriented environment as a compensated, full-time partner during the summer program.
Required Qualifications
- Pursuing a 2-year or 4-year college degree in Data Analytics, Economics or Advanced Mathematics
- Sophomore, Junior or Senior Standing
- Strong analytical skills
- Familiarity with at least one relational database
- Familiarity with at least one spreadsheet application
- Detail oriented with the ability to multitask
- Self-motivated individual with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A willingness to work both independently and in a team-oriented environment
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
Desired Qualifications
- SQL experience preferred
