Job Summary
Write and edit technical documentation, user manuals, and sales and training literature for DoD applications, missions, or initiatives. Apply leading-edge principles to develop new concepts and solve complex problems with substantial latitude for unreviewed action. Mentor or supervise employees in company and technical competencies while collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather technical information and program data. Develop communication plans to deliver high-quality visual presentations, messaging, and print products, ensuring strict adherence to the DoD Issuance Style Guide and AP Style. Handle classified material with proper marking and tracking, maintaining accuracy and attention to detail across all deliverables. Top Secret clearance required; full-time role with projected compensation of $55,200 to $126,000.
Required Qualifications
- Experience utilizing the DoD Issuance Style Guide and AP Style
- Experience working with the front office of senior staff
- Experience writing, editing, and managing technical documentation for DoD applications, missions, or initiatives
- Experience using Microsoft Office Suite programs, including Word, PowerPoint, Teams, Excel, and SharePoint, and Adobe Acrobat
- Experience with developing communication plans to deliver high quality visual presentations, messaging, and print products
- Knowledge of the proper handling, marking, and tracking of classified material
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including gather technical information and program data for the development of accurate and high-quality documentation, pay strict attention to detail, and successfully adhere to deadlines
- Top Secret clearance
- Bachelor's degree
- Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Top Secret clearance is required
