Job Summary
Strategic Communications Expert, Senior with defense-focused advisory responsibilities. Collaborate with thought leaders in strategic deterrence on projects for U.S. Strategic Command, aiding operations personnel in developing and researching emerging capabilities to deliver mission-forward solutions. Must have extensive experience operating military communications systems (satellite and terrestrial like MILSTAR/AEHF; VHF/UHF/HF radios) and NC2/NC3 missions, plus TS/SCI clearance. Positions may require travel up to 25% and may involve consideration of security/compliance processes. Preferred qualifications include experience supporting USSTRATCOM J3 missions, operational/testing expertise, computer network engineering, and government mobile operations activities. Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree and additional security clearances are a plus.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience operating military communication systems (satellite and terrestrial, MILSTAR or AEHF and VHF/UHF/HF)
- 5+ years of experience with NC2 and NC3 missions
- Bachelor’s degree
- Ability to travel up to 25%
- TS/SCI clearance
