Job Summary

Strategic Change Manager to lead end-to-end delivery of university-wide change initiatives within the Executive Division, including transformational Professional Services efficiency programmes and cross-departmental projects. Responsibilities include managing delivery from initiation to evaluation, identifying change requirements with sponsors, negotiating with diverse stakeholders to gain commitment, coordinating multiple strands of initiatives, applying change management and process-improvement methods, developing benefits realisation and stakeholder engagement plans, producing reports and papers for senior committees, and collaborating with other teams to ensure a coherent approach aligned with institutional priorities. The role emphasizes building change capability, facilitating workshops, and delivering measurable benefits while promoting equality, diversity, and inclusion. The role supports a flexible pattern of campus days (three to four days from campus) within a large, complex university setting.

Required Qualifications

  • Relevant degree or relevant equivalent professional qualification (change management, project management)
  • substantial relevant experience evidencing the experience required in this role
  • Experience of developing networks and relationships in a complex organisation
  • Experience of developing strategic and operational plans
  • Strong facilitation skills
  • Outstanding writing skills
