Job Summary
Strategic Buyer Construction / Construction Services tasked with developing and implementing procurement strategies for construction services, managing end-to-end procurement for strategic investment projects (new builds, conversions, refurbishments), overseeing negotiations and contract management, and maintaining the supplier portfolio across global production sites. The role emphasizes cost optimization, risk management, cross-functional collaboration, and active support of site planning with strong emphasis on analytical, structured work and multilingual communication in German and English (French a plus).
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, construction, facility management or a comparable qualification
- at least 5 years of experience in procurement, preferably in construction services and project management in an international environment
- solid knowledge of RFI/RFP processes and the investment environment (CapEx); knowledge of SIA standards is an advantage
- analytical and structured work style; ability to manage multiple projects in parallel
- confident communication and negotiation in German and English; French is a plus
- ability to act independently and proactively under time pressure
