Strategic Business Development Representative

Strategic BDR at Instruqt will own a named book of 30–75 target accounts, working as part of a pod with an Enterprise Account Executive, a Customer Success Manager, the ABM/Marketing team, and a GTM Engineer to build point-of-view outbound that engages strategic buyers. You’ll research accounts deeply, run multi-threaded outbound across email, phone, LinkedIn, and live Instruqt tracks, and collaborate on ABM plays with Marketing. You’ll partner with CS on expansion opportunities, feed insights back to the GTM Engineer for scalable AI-driven outreach, and hand off qualified discovery calls to AEs. You’re expected to contribute to outbound strategy, tooling, and process, respond to inbound leads as needed, and meet metrics such as 20 Opportunities per quarter, 30 calls per week, and multi-threaded account penetration. A background in outbound BDR/SDR within B2B SaaS, a track record of quota attainment, and comfort selling to technical buyers are essential, along with proficiency with the outbound stack (Salesforce, Outreach/Salesloft, LinkedIn Navigator, ZoomInfo/Apollo, Dreamdata). The role emphasizes collaboration within a pod and cross-functional GTM partnership, with a focus on named accounts and strategic outreach.
