Job Summary
Strategic Business Development Manager to prospect and acquire enterprise & mid-market clients (> $100K annual spend); responsibilities include qualifying customer needs, preparing and presenting proposals, delivering RFP/RFQ responses, winning accounts, onboarding Account Managers and Strategic Account Managers, and growing the business through the account lifecycle. The role emphasizes developing compelling presentations that address client pain points, navigating contracts, and ensuring smooth onboarding and ongoing relationship management.
Required Qualifications
- High school completion preferred
- 4-6 years related experience in print and/or sales role (high touch sales)
- Adept at sourcing relevant data and building business case models
- Concrete selling experience in local market; pricing strategies, competition, and key suppliers
- Strong client orientation and ability to engage new people
- Knowledge of Microsoft applications (Excel, PowerPoint) and graphics software (Adobe)
- Experience generating large accounts from mid-market to enterprise
- Knowledge of Salesforce.com a plus
