Job Summary
Lead end-to-end bid management for municipal water and wastewater chemical contracts, coordinating bids, RFQs, RFPs, and contract renewals; serve as central liaison between Sales, Pricing, Technical, Supply Chain, Regulatory, Legal, and Finance to deliver high-quality, on-time bid submissions that align with Solenis’ growth strategy in the municipal market; develop competitive pricing models, analyze historical pricing, volume data, freight, and cost inputs to support bid strategy; ensure compliance with municipal procurement rules, contract language, and safety/regulatory requirements; track bid outcomes, awards, and renewal timelines in CRM; monitor bidding trends and drive process improvements to increase win rates; support sales through bid clarifications, negotiations, and contract execution; bring strong analytical, organizational, and cross-functional collaboration skills and familiarity with regulatory frameworks (NSF, AWWA, EPA).
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, Chemistry, or related field
- 3–5+ years of experience managing bids, proposals, or contracts—preferably in municipal, water/wastewater, or industrial chemicals
- Proficiency in Excel; experience with CRM and bid management systems preferred
