Job Summary
Strategic Analytics Associate focused on developing and maintaining credit program policies, strategies, and processes. Conducts complex analyses to provide concise results with management recommendations, builds ongoing analytics for visibility into trends and portfolio quality across the full account lifecycle (underwriting, portfolio management, and collections), and identifies analytical solutions to enhance risk strategies using internal and external data. Requires strong SAS/R/Python and SQL skills, plus advanced Excel/PowerPoint, and a proven track record in data analytics or risk strategy with excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in engineering, Statistics, Econometrics, Operations Research, Mathematics (or equivalent quantitative field)
- Strong SAS/R/Python and SQL programming skills
- Advanced Word, PowerPoint, and Excel skills
- 3+ years of experience in Business Analysis, Consulting, Data Analytics, Risk Strategy, or related Financial Analysis
- Demonstrated excellent written and oral communication skills to clearly present analytical findings and make business recommendations
- High degree of initiative, self-direction, and excellent project management skills
- Proven ability to collaborate and build strong partnerships
- Intellectual curiosity, attention to detail with a proven ability to learn quickly
