Job Summary

Brand-new Strategic Alliance Manager role at ShareGate/Workleap to build and own the Microsoft alliance from the ground up. You’ll translate strategic alignment into real business impact by driving pipeline, accelerating deals, and strengthening ShareGate’s position within the Microsoft ecosystem. Responsibilities include owning the Microsoft partnership end-to-end—from co-sell readiness to executive alignment—to establish Microsoft as a measurable growth lever for FY27; drive co-sell motions with Microsoft field teams to generate qualified pipeline and accelerate deals toward closed revenue; activate and optimize MACC, Marketplace, MDF, and ISV Success programs to grow Marketplace transactions; build and execute joint go-to-market initiatives with marketing; expand ShareGate’s presence across CSPs, MSPs, and SIs; act as the internal authority on Microsoft priorities and AI-driven partner motion; track and report partnership performance (co-sell pipeline, revenue influence, Marketplace metrics) to inform leadership. What does your future team look like? You’ll collaborate across go-to-market, product, and channel leaders in a cross-functional environment, building ShareGate’s Microsoft alliance function from scratch and turning opportunities into measurable results. Qualifications include 10+ years in Microsoft’s partner ecosystem, strong knowledge of co-sell models and marketplace dynamics, MACC program expertise, established Microsoft network, proven partnership-building ability, cross-functional collaboration, and ambiguity tolerance. Salary range: CAD 175-225k OTE. Location: Canada (Remote).

Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience within Microsoft’s partner ecosystem
  • Strong knowledge of co-sell models and Microsoft marketplace dynamics
  • Deep understanding of MACC agreements and partner programs
  • Established network within Microsoft (field, PDMs, partner teams, executives)
  • Proven ability to build and manage strategic partnerships
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Action-oriented mindset with comfort in ambiguity
