Job Summary
Strategic Account Director at MultiTech manages a portfolio of key enterprise IoT-enabled accounts, driving customer success and growth. Responsibilities include owning client relationships, identifying upsell/cross-sell opportunities, coordinating with sales, product, and marketing teams, developing customized account plans, mitigating account risk, negotiating strategies for new customers, and tracking performance. Requires deep IoT market knowledge, strong negotiation and communication skills, ability to travel, and a bachelor’s degree (MBA preferred) with 10+ years of B2B sales/account management experience. Travel is required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, technical or a related field required; MBA preferred
- 10+ years of proven experience in sales or account management of complex IoT Solutions
- experience with high-value clients in a B2B environment
- Demonstrated understanding of IoT market: products, competitors, technologies, and their application in various industries
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
- Excellent problem-solving and negotiation skills, to include strong business acumen to quickly understand customers’ business and identify opportunities for partnership
- Ability to travel extensively
- Lifting requirements up to 25 pounds
- Requires sitting for periods of time
- Requires travel using all modes of transportation
- Requires a valid driver’s license
- Requires a valid passport
