Job Summary
Own the growth, retention, and commercial success of a portfolio of strategic merchant partners by developing vertical strategies that drive revenue and product adoption. Lead commercial negotiations with senior executives, deliver insights through regular business reviews, and monitor market trends to identify risks and opportunities. Partner cross-functionally with Business Development, Product, and Engineering to execute growth initiatives and champion best practice integration standards. Collaborate with global sales teams to share insights while ensuring compliance and optimizing partner experiences.
Required Qualifications
- Extensive experience managing strategic customer or merchant relationships within consumer, financial services, technology or payments businesses
- A proven track record of developing commercial partnerships that deliver sustainable revenue growth
- Strong commercial acumen with a solid understanding of payments, credit, ecommerce or retail markets
- Excellent relationship management, communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and executive decision makers
- Experience developing and presenting compelling business cases supported by commercial insights
- Strong analytical capability with the ability to translate data into practical commercial recommendations
- Excellent planning, organisation and prioritisation skills, with the ability to manage multiple strategic initiatives simultaneously
- Experience using presentation tools to communicate ideas and influence stakeholders
- An aptitude for identifying and managing risks
