Job Summary
Strategic Account Manager for Food & Beverage seller base across Houston and the West Coast. Responsibilities include growing account-based revenue through use-case expansion and cross-sell, serving as the voice of the upmarket seller with Product Teams, acting as a consultant to high-value restaurant sellers, identifying and delivering technical Square solutions in collaboration with cross-functional teams, and conducting quarterly business reviews with stakeholders. The role requires managing a book of 150-175 strategic sellers, negotiating pricing for use-case expansion and retention, providing white-glove client service, and informing scalable program design.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of relevant Account Management experience
- Experience managing, retaining and growing a book of business
- Consistent over-performance on key sales or customer success metrics
- Discovery skills with customers
- Technical solutioning framework and requirements gathering
- Experience coordinating with engineering, product and finance teams
- Contract and/or pricing negotiations with external senior stakeholders
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Creative and strategic problem solving abilities
