Strategic Account Manager, Central Government UK

Job Summary
Enterprise Account Manager to drive new cyber security business across Central Government markets in the UK. Manage a portfolio of strategic accounts (FTSE-scale organizations), selling the Proofpoint Platform and coordinating with System Engineers and Sales Engineers. Build executive-level relationships, penetrate new accounts, expand within existing customers, and articulate Proofpoint’s value across security, compliance and information protection. Collaborate with channel partners to access new accounts, deliver compelling product demonstrations, maintain forecast accuracy and pipeline progression, and apply formal sales methodologies (e.g., MEDDIC, Challenger, TAS, Command of the Message).
Required Qualifications
- Experience selling into large public sector accounts (Central Government) is a plus
- Experience with SaaS value-based technologies
- Proven track record of targets and pipeline generation
- Ability to establish executive-level relationships (CISO, CIO, etc.)
- Experience closing complex opportunities (> $500k)
