Job Summary
Strategic Account Manager for top Food & Beverage sellers, managing a book of 50 Strategic Food & Beverage sellers in the San Francisco area and across the West Coast; grow account-based revenue via use-case expansion opportunities, cross-sell opportunities, and customized seller onboarding; serve as the voice of the upmarket seller with Product Teams; act as a consultant to high-value restaurant sellers to accomplish their goals; identify opportunities for technical Square solutions and project-manage their execution with cross-functional teams; partner with Strategic Account Executives on high-growth deals; negotiate pricing for use-case expansion and retention; provide white glove client service and troubleshooting to ensure issue resolution; inform operations and program design at scale; conduct quarterly business reviews with various stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of relevant Account Management experience
- Experience managing, retaining and growing a book of business
- Proven ability to conduct contract and/or pricing negotiations with external senior stakeholders
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Creative and strategic problem solving capabilities; ability to work without a playbook
- Ability to manage multiple projects with cross-functional teams (engineering, product, finance)
- Experience providing white-glove client service and troubleshooting to ensure resolution of seller issues
- Restaurant experience and/or F&B technology experience preferred
