Strategic Account Leader PSG

Job Summary

Develop and execute Account Growth Plans for assigned PSG accounts to drive strategic growth and profitability. Lead Account Management Teams to generate opportunities to closure while managing group-level governance and relationship health. Identify and progress strategic offerings by leveraging deep client insights and financial considerations. Prevent and resolve above-site issues through robust communication with internal and client executives. Forecast sales objectives accurately and facilitate harmonization across sites using continuous improvement processes. Build credible relationships with C-suite partners to lead through influence in complex, high-value deal structures.

Required Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree
  • Bachelor's degree in a scientific field (such as chemistry, biochemistry, chemical engineering), pharmacy, or a business-related field
  • MBA
  • Sales and Account management experience in pharmaceutical or comparable industry
  • Knowledge of pharmaceutical product development
  • Knowledge of cGMP requirements
  • Knowledge of CDMO / CRO services
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Understanding of financial models
  • Ability to balance factors such as cash flow, revenue recognition, return on investment, and allocation of risk in complex, high value deal structures
  • Success engaging with executives, including C-suite
  • Minimum of 10 years' experience in commercial, program management, relationship management type roles
  • Demonstrated experience working with complex initiatives in a matrix environment with broad, high-value impact
  • A strong teammate with consistent record of successfully coordinating activities and actions across all organizational levels
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Strong communication skills

  • Strong customer advocacy

Desired Qualifications

  • MBA highly preferred
  • Knowledge of pharmaceutical product development, cGMP requirements and CDMO / CRO services is highly preferred
