Job Summary

Strategic Account Executive, Healthcare at Cursor leads a named book of healthcare accounts, driving revenue growth and expansion across a complex enterprise landscape. The role requires deep technical fluency and healthcare proficiency to navigate payer/provider buying processes, guide prospects through trials and security reviews, and build executive relationships across health systems, integrators, and technical teams. You will own the territory, lead multi-threaded sales cycles across Engineering, Product, Security, Procurement, Legal, and stakeholders, quantify ROI with healthcare-focused outcomes, partner with Field Engineering and AI Deployment to move from proof of concept to production deployment, and accelerate adoption through understanding procurement, contracts, and compliance. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of closing experience in enterprise or Healthcare technology sales, a proven track record of landing new logos and expanding strategic accounts, and a hunter mindset with outbound pipeline generation. You are an excellent communicator who can articulate value, influence product roadmap feedback, and balance technical and business perspectives to improve patient care through AI-powered developer tools.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of closing experience in enterprise or Healthcare technology sales (developer tools, technical SaaS, infrastructure, cybersecurity, or emerging technologies)
  • ability to navigate complex healthcare payor and provider buying processes
  • strong communication and executive relationship-building skills
  • ability to lead multi-threaded sales cycles across Engineering, Product, Security, Procurement, Legal
  • track record of landing new logos and expanding strategic accounts
  • self-sourced pipeline generation and outbound prospecting
  • familiarity with trials, technical evaluations, security reviews, and large-scale rollouts in healthcare
  • ability to quantify ROI tied to developer productivity and security outcomes
  • collaboration with Field Engineering and AI Deployment teams
  • understanding of procurement processes, contract vehicles, and compliance requirements
  • comfort communicating with engineers, program leaders, CISOs/CIOs
  • passion for Healthcare and AI-enabled patient care
