Job Summary
Straight Truck Driver responsible for safely and efficiently operating a tractor-trailer or box truck to deliver finished product to customers on local routes, adhering to DOT and company policies. Duties include upholding safety and compliance, maintaining the vehicle per policy, ensuring on-time delivery on established routes, inspecting loads for proper loading, verifying product counts and signatures for bill of lading, and meeting performance measures. Requires strong written and oral communication, attention to detail, analytical and problem-solving skills, time management, and ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment. 1st shift, Mon-Fri, 6:00 am–2:30 pm; equal opportunity employer.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Operators License
- 2 years prior experience driving in large vehicles such as box truck or similar
- Demonstrated experience practicing safe driving practices
- Previous experience delivering and handling freight preferred
