Job Summary
Straight Truck Driver (NON CDL) delivers items to destinations on a specified route, picking up and delivering packages, meeting deadlines, maintaining safety, and communicating with dispatchers and customers. Responsibilities include following routes, completing related paperwork, basic truck maintenance, collecting payments, reporting issues to supervisors, and ensuring safety of packages (including frozen or perishable items). Qualifications include being 18+, a legal US resident, a valid license with a good driving record, ability to obtain MVR and criminal background standards, ability to obtain Medical Examiner’s Certificate, pallet jack and forklift certifications, ability to drive in all weather, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and 150 lbs occasionally, along with willingness to drive for extended periods. Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must be a legal resident of the United States.
- Must have a valid driver's license that is in good standing and safe driving record.
- Must pass and maintain Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) record check and adhere to standards.
- Must pass and adhere to criminal background standards.
- Ability to obtain and maintain Medical Examiner’s Certificate (FedMed card).
- Pallet jack experience preferred; forklift experience preferred.
- Ability to obtain and maintain pallet jack and forklift certification.
- Adhere to post accident drug testing requirements.
- Must be able to drive in all-weather conditions (rain, snow, ice, etc.).
- Must be able and willing to maneuver up to 50lbs. regularly and 150 lbs. occasionally.
- Must be able and willing to kneel, squat, climb ladders/stairs.
- Must be able to drive for extended periods of time.
