Job Summary
Straight Truck Driver (NON CDL) needed in Madison, WI. Deliver items to destinations on a timely and professional basis, picking up and delivering packages, following routes within the delivery area, meeting deadlines, maintaining safety, communicating with dispatch and customers, completing required paperwork, performing basic truck maintenance, and may collect payments. Must be at least 18, a US resident with a valid driver’s license and clean driving record, pass MVR and background checks, obtain/maintain a Medical Examiner’s Certificate, and obtain pallet jack and forklift certifications (pallet jack and forklift experience preferred). Able to drive in all-weather conditions, lift up to 50 lbs regularly and 150 lbs occasionally, kneel/squat/climb stairs, and drive extended periods. Training and experience in safety procedures, reporting issues, and basic math and language skills are expected.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must be a legal resident of the United States
- Must have a valid driver's license that is in good standing and safe driving record
- Must pass and maintain Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) record check and adhere to standards
- Must pass and adhere to criminal background standards
- Ability to obtain and maintain Medical Examiner’s Certificate (FedMed card)
- Pallet jack experience preferred; forklift experience preferred
- Ability to obtain and maintain pallet jack and forklift certification
- Adhere to post accident drug testing requirements
- Must be able to drive in all-weather conditions (rain, snow, ice, etc.)
- Must be able and willing to maneuver up to 50lbs. regularly and 150 lbs occasionally.
- Must be able and willing to kneel, squat, climb ladders/stairs
- Must be able to drive for extended periods of time.
