Job Summary
Build stair systems within allotted time frames by positioning parts, examining connections, and fastening subassemblies using templates or measurements. Verify specifications by measuring completed components and resolve assembly problems by altering dimensions or notifying supervisors. Maintain equipment through preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs while keeping the work environment safe and clean. Request materials from the warehouse and conserve resources to control costs. Operate power tools including table saws, band saws, and miter saws in a production environment requiring some heavy lifting.
Required Qualifications
- good woodworking skills
- Ability to read tape measure and perform basic math accurately
- Ability to operate power tools, table saw, band saw, chop & miter saw and any woodworking related tools
- Ability to work in a production type environment with some heavy lifting required
- Ability to build stair systems within company standards
- Maintain manufacturing quality, mechanical inspection tools, safety and quality focus
Desired Qualifications
- CNC Machine Operation experience preferred
