Job Summary
Assist guests during challenging times and serve as the first-line representative in the Store Manager’s absence. Responsibilities include managing the rental process (converting a sale, taking payments, selling merchandise, offering insurance), assisting with truck rentals at some locations, collecting past-due accounts, and ensuring cash handling accuracy (balancing receipts, posting payments, processing bank deposits). Maintain an impeccable facility, perform minor maintenance, coordinate with vendors, and support store operations across potentially multiple sites. Lead and participate in team initiatives, contribute to a positive work environment, and promote guest service excellence. Requires weekend availability and a customer-service/sales mindset with a willingness to learn and grow in a self-storage environment.
Required Qualifications
- Preferred 1+ years in Customer Service/Sales experience
- Experience in Cash Handling required
- Must be available on weekends
- A huge passion for guest service and sales
- The ability to be a part of a team to help support and motivate as needed to ensure a collaborative and positive work environment
