Job Summary
Stormwater Construction Technician (Heavy Equipment/Concrete) in Salt Lake City, UT. Construct, maintain, and repair stormwater infrastructure, concrete structures, and underground utilities. Operate heavy equipment (skid loader, excavator, dozer), pour/finish concrete, and install rebar. Travel 85% (lodging covered; $68/day per diem; company vehicle provided). Requires 2-4 years in construction, experience with heavy equipment, ability to travel, DOT-compliant driving, and ability to lift 60 pounds. Full-time with benefits and opportunities for growth.
Required Qualifications
- 2-4 years of construction experience
- Experience with heavy equipment (skid loader, small excavator)
- Experience with repairing concrete structures, rebar, and concrete finishing
- Prior experience with repairing and installing underground piping and detention/retention basins is a plus
- Ability to do frequent out-of-town regional travel (85% or more travel required)
- Comfortable using pickups and equipment trailers while understanding DOT requirements
- Valid driver’s license and safe driving record
- Ability to pass pre-employment background and drug screen
- Able to perform manual labor, lift and carry 60 pounds, work in confined spaces, and under inclement weather conditions
