Job Summary
Storm Water Treatment Plant Operator I at CVG Airport Authority responsible for daily operation and maintenance of the stormwater treatment plant (SWTP) and related infrastructure, including biological treatment processes, SCADA monitoring, valve/gate/pump operation, waste manifest documentation, sampling of influent/effluent, data processing and reporting, and on-call emergency response. Role involves assisting with snow removal on varying shifts, operating and inspecting equipment, ensuring regulatory compliance (Kentucky Discharge Elimination System permits), and collaborating with contractors. Requires driving on the airfield and adherence to safety procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum Education: HSD/GED or equivalent
- Maintains Security Identification Display Area (SIDA) clearance
- Valid Operators License
- OSHA 30 Training certification or the ability to obtain within 6 months
- Commercial Driver’s License or able to obtain within 6 months
