Job Summary
Storm Technician responsible for setting up and dismantling base camps supporting first responders and the public during storm or emergency deployments. Duties include installing and maintaining temporary housing units, restrooms, showers, and other camp amenities; coordinating with emergency management teams; ensuring facilities are safe, sanitary, and operational; managing inventory and logistics for camp equipment; performing routine inspections and maintenance of camp infrastructure; troubleshooting on-site issues; following safety protocols; operating a pump truck and handling trailer deliveries as needed. Requires outdoor outdoor labor, ability to work overtime and weekends during storm season, valid driver’s license to operate pump truck, CDL preferred, and deployment across the U.S. Veteran-friendly employer with comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- CDL license preferred / CDL - non hazardous
- 3 years of required commercial driving experience, 5 years preferred
- Must be able to pull trailers
- Must be at least 25 years of age or older
- Valid Driver’s License or similar classification to operate a pump truck required
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Experience as a Storm Technician or similar role in emergency response or disaster relief settings
