Job Summary
Lead the Stores team to manage goods receipt, storage, kitting, and despatch while maintaining accurate stock records within the ERP system. Allocate workloads to ensure daily priorities are met and drive continuous improvement across operations by monitoring KPIs and investigating stock discrepancies. Coordinate domestic and international shipments, supporting export documentation and customs compliance to ensure materials are available for manufacturing. Promote a safe, organized, and efficient working environment through cycle counts and operational oversight.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience supervising a warehouse or stores team
- Strong stock control and inventory management experience
- Experience using ERP systems
- Excellent organisational and planning skills
- Strong communication and people management skills
- A proactive approach to continuous improvement
- Good understanding of, and positive attitude to warehouse health and safety
- Must be eligible to meet UK Government Security Clearance vetting
Desired Qualifications
- Experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment
- Experience supporting international shipments
- Knowledge of customs processes and export documentation
- Experience working within a manufacturing, engineering or similarly regulated environment
